Cristiano Ronaldo 

Cristiano Ronaldo dos  Santos Aveiro, commonly known as Cristiano Ronaldo is a famous soccer player. He was born on Februry 5th, 1985 in Funchal, Madeira, Portugal. The reason why I am writing about him is because in the past couple of years, he really impressed me with his spectacular soccer skills. From an unknown youngster to now a soccer megastar. The following are some of Cristiano Ronaldo's facts:

1. Cristiano Ronaldo started his soccer career in Sporting Clube de Portugal. He impressed everyone when he scored two goals for his team on his debut and ultimately winning the match as well. 
2. When there was an earthquake in Asia a few years ago, all new channels showed the aftermath of the earthquake. So, there was this place that they showed in the news in which there was this kid who was wearing Cristiano Ronaldo's jersey. And so, Cristiano Ronaldo donated tons of money to the countries impacted by the earthquake in Asia. 
3. Due to Cristiano Ronaldo's success, other clubs started making offers and eventually he went to Manchester United. The most astonishing thing for him was when he was given number 7 jersey from the manager. This actually surprised me as well because that number was worn by many legends that played for Manchester United such as David Beckham. 
4. Cristiano Ronaldo was at his peak when none other than Real Madrid who is one of the richest soccer club bought Ronaldo. He moved to Real Madrid on June 26, 2009 and became one of the most expensive soccer player of all time. 
5. Cristiano Ronaldo was the Ballon d'Or winnter of 2008, World Soccer player of the year of 2008, Goal.com player of the year of 2008 and 2012, PFA Young Player of the year 2006-07, Premier League Golden Boot 2007-08, La Liga top scorer 2010-11 and much more. 
6. Cristiano Ronaldo's father Jose Dinis Aveiro died due to excessive amounts of alcohol and since that incident he decided not to drink alcohol however he was found drinking alcohol many times.   
7. Critiano Ronaldo is so crazy about soccer that he even has his own fashion botique known as CR7 in Portugal. 
8. Cristiano Ronaldo was the first Manchester United player who was from Portugal. 
9. At the age of 15, Cristiano Ronaldo had heart problems due to which he had to go through a heart surgery. Luckily, he was fine and so he continued playing soccer. 
10. Throughout his life Cristiano Ronaldo had this vision that about soccer that one day he would become a famous soccer player. So he didn't use to do his homework and secretly get out of his room and play soccer instead. 

There are lots of others important facts about Cristiano Ronaldo. He has accomplished a lot so far in his career. Even now he still performs his skills efficiently that there is no player that can stop him.
