Ten Interesting Facts about Chinese Painting
  • Chinese painting is one of the continous traditional art in the world.
  • Landscape painting was regarded as the highest form of Chinese painting.
  • THe brushs are made out of animal hair.
  • Along the River During the Qingming Festival by Zhang Zeduan during Song dynasty is one of the most famous Chinese painting.  This is painting is incredibly huge, it has height 24.8 centimeters, and long 528 centimeters  it's about 5 meters long.  It captured people's daily life and landscape in the capital of China, Beijing.  
  • Chinese painting come in different forms.  For example, fan, rectangle, circle, etc.
  • When the artists finish the their pieces, they always put a stand with their signatures scarves into the stones.
  • The paintings can reveal the lifestyle people had in the past.
  • There's always message behind the art work.
  • One of the most demanding art work.
  • Once the painting is done, there's no make over.
