Lithuanian schools

Lithuanian school are very different from my school in America that I go. First, in Lithuanian the teachers don't use letter grades such as A's,B's,C's,D's, and F's.  In Lithuanian schools the teachers use numbers 10 the highest grade that you can get and 1 the lowest which means you failed. There are pre-schools in Lithuania for kids and its up to the parents if the kids go to those preschools. After that the child must start 1st grade (its up to the parents what age they start either 6 or 7 years old.) From 1 st grade kids usually attend the same school until they're done with school. In Lithuania we didn't have school buses the kids either get dropped off by their parents or they would have to walk to school. School usually started at 7:30 in the morning and ended at 1 pm in Lithuania.  Lithuanian schools are way harder then American school because the teachers are more strict and the stuff you have to learn is more difficult then what you learn in American schools.  I personally like American school more then Lithuanian because the teachers are a lot nicer here and school is just easier.
