How technology harms people? #3

Everywhere you go and everywhere you look, people are using technology. Some are being glued to their phones others to their laptops or computers. According to the article "Is technology harming our communications skills?", there is a statistic that says 80% of the population in the United States is using internet. They spent 17 hours a week being online. Many families have more than one computer.

Another interesting fact is that people stopped communicating face-to-face instead they are texting or being on Facebook/Twitter. Nowadays we are so dependent on technology, in some ways it is helpful to the society. It made it possible for the people to stay in touch with their friends or family who live far away. Now we can find important information that we need, quicker and more accurate. But there is a bad side of all this, technology is one of the reason why some people have trouble communicating. People spent so much time being online and forget about the real life outside the virtual world. It might also harm our writing skill at school or work by using abbreviations of some words. We have to have some limit and not use so much technology, otherwise we might harm our relationships with people.

WHAT MAKES A SOCIETY JUST?

Some of the factors that make a society just are the leader and the government. The leader is responsible for making rules and making decisions that will help improve the justice in the society. A great leader would be a person who can be trusted and does everything possible for the good of the society. The government has to be fair to every person but for example the people who are very rich have to pay higher taxes so the poor people doesn't have to pay such high taxes. I don't think the government should take money from the wealthy people and give them to the poor but they have to observe carefully how the rich people got these money, if they didn't earn them by fair way and work hard, the government should take the money and use it for the society. People are naturally both good and bad according to their situation that they are in. Sometimes we are selfish but we are also helpful and caring. People's good relationship would make people better. To have honor means to be a person who is being respected, kind and he is behaving good. To be honored is like an award to these kind of people.

2nd Blog Post

People prefer communicating online instead of talking to someone face-to-face. People are like glued to their phones and laptops. Some are so dependent on their Facebook accounts that they have to check them every minute. The society is addicted to internet and other kinds of technologies but only a very few people realize how that affects their relationships. Also technology has affect on the ability to speak and write correctly. There are many abbreviations that are being used online but actually are used in school and work too. Even thought technology might be bad, there are good sides of it. You can find useful information or communicate faster with other people.

Technology growth and influence on people #1

I am going to study about how technology grows that quick and how does it affect on people's relationships.I am interested in this topic because I see how people don't communicate with each other. For example can be when a family goes on a dinner everybody is checking their Facebook accounts, emails or just texting. They spend too much time being online and being in the virtual world. My subquestions and topics are how the technology became such a big part of every person's life and why we are like addicted to technology.
